TNT Bubble Experience Application

Bubble Experiences at the WALDEN Institute allow young adults and caregivers affected by cancer to spend time with others who are in their COVID Bubble. These experiences are intended to support TNT alumni to keep embodying the "TNT Spirit" in their outlook, actions, and overall way of being. This includes finding time to appreciate nature, connect in meaningful ways with friends and family, and be in pursuit of their "best self."

All Bubble Experience guests are considered volunteers. As volunteers, each group agrees to engage in a designated volunteer activity at some point during their stay. Depending on specific volunteer skills or property needs, this could include general property upkeep (raking, sweeping), trail blazing or clearing, garden tending, or other special projects. The primary contact (and other guests if possible) will have a Zoom call with a TNT representative prior to the experience to discuss specific opportunities.

Pay it forward pledge completion

While Bubble Experiences are 100% free (and there is no additional Pay if Forward Pledge), completion of one's prior Pay it Forward Pledge from their last trek is required of TNT Alumni to be eligible to attend. Have you (and others) completed your Pledge from the last trek you attended?

All Bubble Experiences have a primary point of contact who is responsible for communicating with their group prior to the experience and making sure everyone abides by property guidelines and requests.

The primary contact also represents the entire group in agreeing to TNT's general policies as well as the volunteer release and waiver of liability terms found at the end of this form.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

There are 11 full-size beds in the Main House, which has 4 levels - the ground floor and 3 descending floors, which we call “Level I”, “Level II”, and “Level III”. Each level is a shared "dorm style" bedroom. For logistical reasons, we ask you to use all beds starting with Level I first before proceeding to Levels II, and III.
