Hello! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. 

In 2024 at the age of 28 I was diagnosed with lung neuroendocrine cancer. I am lucky to be nearing 2 years post treatment with no evidence of disease, and am so fourtunate to have the opportunity to connect and continue the healing process with other young adult cancer survivors in nature via True North Treks.

True North Treks mission is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit organization whose mission is to support young adults and caregivers affected by cancer to "find direction through connection." True North Treks takes groups on free backpacking and canoeing treks in beautiful and remote wilderness destinations where they can engage in three crucial connections that are missing from conventional cancer care: 1) connection with nature (after going through something as unnatural as cancer treatment), 2) connection with peers who have walked a similar path, and 3) connection with oneself through mindful awareness practices, such as meditation and yoga.

In August 2026, I will take part in a True North Trek in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I am raising $1,200 for their Pay It Forward fund, so that another survivor can experience a life-changing trek. If you are able to contribute any amount towards this goal, I would be deeply grateful.
