As spring approaches, I am reflecting on my upcoming seven-year anniversary as a breast cancer survivor. This milestone is significant for me, and my journey continues to involve regular follow-up appointments and physical therapy to address the ongoing effects of treatment and surgeries.

I have been fortunate to attend several cancer retreats, which have provided valuable opportunities to connect with other survivors. These gatherings allow us to share our experiences and find comfort in nature. Despite the physical challenges I face, I remain committed to living in the moment and adapting to my circumstances.

This summer, I will be embarking on a new adventure with True North Treks. I am pleased to share that a previous participant has generously sponsored my attendance. In turn, I would like to help another survivor or thriver experience this transformative opportunity.
