This year on my birthday , I’m celebrating life, and I’m celebrating my 3-years cancer- free anniversary. I wish to fundraise enough money to make a backpacking trip in Yellowstone through this wonderful organization called Truth North Treks. They organize trips to support young adults affected by cancer to find direction in their lives through connections with other cancer survivors. It’s been an arduous journey for me to fight cancer, I feel lonely and helpless most of the time. I’m always trying to be tough and carrying heavy burden that weighs me down. I’m learning to let go of people and things that affect my mental health. I've been trying to live and enjoy life more ever since I defeated cancer. It’s a never-ending healing process and I know I’ll never be the same person I used to be. I’m grateful to have met other cancer survivors in the past 3 years and realize that we can still have a good life. I’m not afraid of death, but I’m afraid of not doing anything meaningful in my life before I die. I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me.
