Dalia Fuleihan's Fundraising Page
Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend a trip at True North Trek's Walden Institute in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. True North Treks is an organization that facilitates trips for young adult cancer survivors to get away into nature, reconnect with themselves, and heal from the trauma of cancer treatment. These trips are completely free of charge and True North Treks relies on donations to sustain their programming.
My trip to the Upper Peninsula was a phenomenal experience. This fall, as part of my "pay it forward pledge," I will be raising money for True North Treks to help someone else go on a trip like this in the future.
